We are looking for Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our team at Richmond Village. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will provide care and support to our residents who live in our serviced apartments on site. So the great news is there is no travel as all your residents are in one place. We can offer full and part time opportunities and a range of shifts. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you’ll help residents to truly get the most out of life and in return we’ll support you to get the most out of your career. You can count on a thorough induction when you start to help you settle into your new role. What the Role Entails:
- Assisting residents with personal care duties
- Supporting at mealtimes where appropriate
- Helping to promote mental and physical activity of residents through hobbies, interests or activities within the village
- Answering emergency calls on site when care alert system is activated
- Working with the Domiciliary Care Manager and external professionals such as GPs, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists where appropriate
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed for This Role:
Ideally, you’ll have experience of working in a care/dementia setting or you may have a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), however this isn’t essential as full training will be provided.
