Responsibilities
- Managing and optimising staff rotas, ensuring effective cover while working within agreed budgets
- Leading, recruiting, and developing a high‑performing front‑of‑house team, maintaining Richmond Villages’ high standards
- Overseeing all daily restaurant operations, delivering an exceptional experience across dining, bar, and room service
- Planning and delivering events and functions, maximising the use of village spaces to drive engagement and revenue
- Building relationships with local businesses and organisations to increase external bookings and revenue opportunities
- Working collaboratively with marketing to promote events, functions, and dining experiences
- Monitoring competitor activity and supporting pricing strategies to ensure commercial competitiveness
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider teams to ensure seamless service and a consistent guest experience
- Managing dietary, allergen, and alternative meal requirements safely and effectively
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience of managing a team in a hospitality or catering environment.
- Hold a CIEH Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety (or equivalent).
- Self‑motivated, great communicator, person‑centred approach.
- Organised, flexible, professional attitude, team player and capable of working independently.
- Able to lead by example, ensuring an excellent hospitality experience.
- DBS check completed (Bupa covers the cost).
