Job Title: Pot Washer
Location: St Josephs Way, Nantwich, CW5 6LZ
Salary: £12.90 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 21.5 Hours - Various days 0800 – 1430 (1 shift) and 1230 – 2000 (2 shifts)
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Occasional Late Night Finish: When any functions are on

Responsibilities
- Wash dishes by hand or by loading the dishwasher, and store clean items neatly and safely to minimise breakages.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to keep them free from grease or spillage at all times.
- Wash worktables, walls, kitchen equipment and appliances, adhering to cleaning schedules.
- Operate kitchen equipment and transfer it safely between storage and work areas.
- Ensure the kitchen is kept tidy and left secure; remove rubbish and put supplies away in the correct places.
- Adhere to company Food Safety and Health and Safety policies at all times, maintaining all records outlined in the HACCP policy.
Key Skills / Qualifications
Understanding of Health and Safety and knowledge of maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment. An up‑to‑date CIEH Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent) and previous experience of working in a catering department or kitchen would be advantageous. Ideally you have some knowledge of working in a care environment and stock control, as well as an ability to prepare simple meals. Organised and adaptable, you have the ability to work well within a team and under your own initiative.
