Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of imaging and patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital quality standards.
- Perform all types of interventional radiology, cardiac and neuro procedures as required by referring physicians, including angiograms and cerebral aneurysm embolisation.
- Demonstrate significant evidence of cardiac expertise and angiographic knowledge to meet expectations of interventional consultants.
- Ensure high‑quality service by monitoring standards for patient care, technical performance, and reporting.
- Accurately analyse acquired data, record results, and produce high‑quality images for reporting.
- Participate in a Quality Assurance programme covering equipment, processing and Radiation Protection, maintaining accurate records and reporting problems to the Radiation Protection Supervisor.
- Be prepared to work in both single‑plane and biplane angiographic studies.

- Angiography‑specific radiology qualification or certificate (desirable).
- Relevant post‑graduate experience in an angiography laboratory (essential).
- PACS trained (essential).
