Senior Business Analyst – Kirkstall Forge, Leeds – Permanent – Salary: From £39,000 per annum + fantastic benefits • 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Business partnering for the Richmond villages operations to maintain and/or improve operational performance of the portfolio, including some support costs applicable across the portfolio.
- Development and production of regular and ad hoc reporting/analysis to support decision making.
- Perform and support investment appraisal of operational proposals which will apply across the Richmond villages portfolio, ensuring subsequent monitoring and working pro-actively and collaboratively with colleagues across the business to ensure delivery of expected benefits.
- Subject Matter Expert for projects which drive change across the Villages portfolio which may include the introduction of new systems and processes. These projects will usually have significant financial targets attached and will entail working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Assist in the co-ordination of the ground up planning and budgeting process for the portfolio alongside the Finance Business Partners, ensuring that top down business forecasts are reconciled to the “bottom up” process.
- Provide and promote a culture of data analytics supporting the wider data strategy, using data to aid operational decision making.
- The role is primarily office based at one of Bupa UK’s offices (Kirkstall Forge) but will involve some UK travel to other UK office locations.
You
- Finance experience including reporting, planning, forecasting, and cost control.
- Flexible, objective and pragmatic. Able to work under pressure, handling multiple priorities and capable of providing insightful and balanced views on business risks and issues.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes through consultation and conciliation.
- Objective, analytical and lateral thinking with a ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to summarise and communicate complicated technical issues.
- A part or newly qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
