We are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their culinary career or looking to develop their skills in a supportive, high-quality environment. You will work closely with senior chefs to prepare fresh, seasonal dishes and help ensure our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Employment Details

  • Salary: ÂŁ31,229 per annum + ÂŁ1,000 welcome bonus
  • Location: Richmond Village, Letcombe Regis, South Street, Wantage, OX12 9RG
  • Full Time, 45 hours per week – shifts between 7am and 8pm (no split shifts), including alternate weekends and occasional late night for events.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals to a high standard
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
  • Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
  • Help with stock rotation and storage
  • Learn and develop culinary techniques under guidance from senior chefs
  • Respond to residents and customers dietary needs and personal preferences
