Shift Patterns: Hrs Between 8-7pm to include weekends on rota & some late nights to cover events
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hospitality experience who enjoys a hands-on role but is also comfortable managing people, coordinating rotas, and carrying out administrative tasks. The role combines customer-facing hospitality responsibilities with team leadership and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant services.
You can count on a thorough induction when you start to help you settle into your new role followed by ongoing training and development including access to apprenticeships. You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By:
- Supporting the day-to-day management of the hospitality team.
- Assisting with staff supervision, providing guidance and support to ensure high service standards are maintained.
- Taking accountability for creating and managing staff rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are in place to meet business needs.
- Completing administration duties (approximately 50% of the role), including updating records, managing schedules, handling departmental paperwork, and supporting reporting requirements.
- Monitoring attendance, holiday requests, and shift cover arrangements.
- Supporting the Hospitality Manager with operational organisation and team performance.
- Setting up for business & serving at mealtimes.
- Serving drinks at the bar as required (only applicable to applicants over 18 years old).
- Ensuring that the restaurant and café & kitchen are tidy and meet all high standards.
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role:
- You’re someone that cares for others and wants to make a real difference to people’s lives.
- You have previous customer service experience, and you might also have some experience in a catering role or kitchen role although this is not as essential, as training is provided.
- A great communicator, you’ll enjoy working in a close-knit team, with people from all walks of life.
