Reporting to the Assistant Principal for Quality and Curriculum, you will lead a team of curriculum and support staff, and will be responsible for the full range of provision on full and part-time courses, including managing the quality of the provision. You will lead on development planning in the area, including supporting the team with preparations for qualification changes.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent and a minimum of Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector
- Skilled practitioner in teaching, learning and assessment with a Business, Sport, Travel or Catering specialism, and experience of implementing strategies to improve attendance and retention
- Specialist knowledge and experience in Business, Sport, Travel or Catering, including knowledge of curriculum developments and recent initiatives
- Understanding and practical application of inclusive learning strategies and a proven commitment to equality and diversity
- Successful experience of managing a team, including coaching and developing staff
- Experience of managing change and implementing new initiatives including curriculum developments
