Our Business and Service Industries School, based at our Richmond Campus, offers a range of vocational and professional programmes from Level 1 to Level 5, a strong apprenticeship programme and professional certificates. Working in collaboration with local and national employers, we successfully prepare learners for a wide range of careers and/or higher education, meeting the latest industry standards. Employer needs are central to our curriculum provision, and we are committed to equipping our students with the skills and techniques to navigate the digital landscape of the future.
As a Section Manager, you will be joining a friendly and supportive team with extensive industry experience, all committed to the success of our learners. In this role, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the Service Industries department, with an additional element of leadership and oversight within the Business department. With access to numerous training and development opportunities and scope for promotion within the College, this position offers a varied and rewarding career path. The courses within the Service Industries school include BTEC Sports, C&G Catering and NCFE Travel and Tourism.
Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year olds and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years. We have opened a new building in 2020 and a brand-new technology-focused STEM Centre in 2024. This exciting and innovative new learning environment is located within the grounds of the current college site, so remains convenient for public transport links – it is adjacent to the A316 and just a short walk from Twickenham rail station and a number of regular London bus routes.
