We are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our friendly, well-established West London team, working predominantly on private residential jobs across West London and Surrey. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and professional business offering a steady flow of local work, a well-organised schedule and a friendly working environment. An immediate start is available for the right person.
The ideal candidate will be based in West London, have at least 2 years' experience, and hold valid ACS Domestic Gas qualifications. The role is focused specifically within West London, with travel outside the area being very occasional and the exception rather than the norm.
About the role:
- You will work exclusively within private residential properties, with the primary focus being gas safety inspections, boiler servicing, fault finding, and diagnostics.
- The role will involve a varied mix of planned maintenance and reactive repair work across heating and plumbing systems.
- This is a Monday - Friday role with no weekend call out rota.
The core of the role will include:
- Landlord gas safety inspections
- Boiler servicing
- Boiler fault finding and diagnostics
- Heating system repairs and maintenance
- HIU servicing and fault finding
- Hot water cylinder work
- General plumbing repairs
- Producing clear electronic reports following each visit
There is no site work and no council work. Our focus is on delivering a high-quality service to private residential customers and landlords.
About you:
We're looking for an experienced, professional and friendly Gas Engineer who is confident working independently in customers' homes. You'll need:
- Valid ACS Domestic Gas qualifications
- At least 2 years' experience
- Strong boiler servicing and fault-finding experience
- Confidence using flue gas analysers
- Strong heating system diagnostic skills
- Good general plumbing knowledge
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Your own hand tools
- The ability to pass a DBS background check

You'll be someone who is reliable, presentable and professional, with excellent customer service skills and pride in the standard of your work.
