What you’ll do
In the role you’ll:
- Build your understanding of health and safety practices, including how to carry out risk assessments, support on safe systems of work, and apply company policies and procedures
- Get involved in the day-to-day running of health and safety activities, help to review safety procedures, investigate incidents and analyse data to share with the team
- Visit sites where construction, refurbishment, or repair work is taking place, helping to check that safety standards are being followed
- Support the delivery of essential training sessions like toolbox talks and staff inductions
- Develop your customer service skills to deliver an excellent service to both internal and external customers – answering calls, replying to emails and offering support
- Use IT systems to help the team with general admin tasks and keep things running smoothly
- Learn how to manage and update records accurately, using both paper-based and digital systems
- Work towards completing a Health and Safety qualification, making the most of your learning opportunities
- Always work safely, following the rules and regulations, and looking for ways to help improve how things are done
How you’ll be assessed
We’re looking for someone with experience of:
- Has a passion for keeping people safe and an interest in how health and safety makes a real difference
- Has experience of working as part of a team
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills

- Confidence using Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel
