Please Note there are vacancies across both sites. We welcome applicants for the position of Higher Level Teaching Assistant at our 2 site special school.
The expectation is that successful applicants would work towards the Higher Level Teaching Assistant Standards or equivalent qualification or be prepared to undertake the qualification.

Purpose of the Positions:
To complement the professional work of Teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities, supported by direction from Teaching Staff. This will involve teaching to cover PPA, planning, preparing and delivering lessons and learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes. Working with the teacher to develop and advise others on working with children within your pathway. Working closely with others within your pathway to establish a clear vision and plan for children within the class that supports their behaviour and learning needs.
It will also involve assessment, recording and reporting on achievement, behaviour for learning, progress and development. This may also include the management, support and development of other staff.
