Richmond Hill Practice, Colne, is seeking a Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for six sessions per week Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays with some on-call commitment.

Main duties of the job Role and Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care through face-to-face, telephone, and digital consultations
  • Manage a clinical caseload including long-term conditions and acute presentations
  • Undertake appropriate prescribing, referrals, and follow-up
  • Complete clinical administration efficiently, including results management and correspondence
  • Participate in practice meetings, clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively within the practice and wider PCN team
  • Contribute to training and supervision where appropriate

We are a well-established Training Practice based in a modern building at Colne Health Centre, serving a patient list of approximately 12,800 patients, and are rated Good by the CQC. Our clinical team comprises 6 GP Partners, trainee GPs, 2 ANPs, 1 Triage Nurse, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, and 2 GPAs, all working together in a genuinely collaborative and supportive environment. We are strongly supported by colleagues within the Pendle East PCN, including GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, and a Health and Wellbeing Team. Our highly experienced non-clinical team ensures smooth day-to-day operations, enabling all staff to focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. We are a digitally enabled and forward-thinking practice, using online triage systems alongside traditional general practice values to provide safe, efficient, and accessible care for our patients.

Experience

  • Proven experience working in a GP practice or primary care setting.

Qualifications

  • Vocationally trained and accredited GP.
  • Full GMC registration.
  • Inclusion on a PCSE/ICB performers list.
  • MRCGP or equivalent.
