The Practice Operations Lead will support the Practice Manager in coordinating the day-to-day operation of the practice. This includes overseeing workflow, appointment systems, and Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) and contract delivery in collaboration with management and the wider team. The post is focused on planning, coordination, and process improvement.
Main duties of the job
- Support the day-to-day operation of the practice and ensure smooth workflow across clinical and administrative teams.
- Coordinate Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) delivery and contractual obligations.
- Oversee appointment system planning in collaboration with management and the wider team, optimising templates and capacity.
- Work collaboratively with teams, supporting front-line staff and helping to improve processes.
- Support projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, patient experience, and service delivery.
- Work closely with the Practice Governance Lead to ensure operational processes align with governance standards.
About us
We are a well-established Training Practice based in a modern building at Colne Health Centre. Our clinical team comprises 6 GP Partners, trainee GPs, 2 ANPs, 1 Triage Nurse, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, and 2 GPAs. We are strongly supported by colleagues within the Pendle East PCN, which includes a wider team of GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, and a Health and Wellbeing Team. We also have a highly experienced and supportive non-clinical team, working together to deliver high-quality patient care.
