We are looking for an exceptional Assistant Front Office Manager to come and join us at Richmond Hill Hotel. Located in the heart of London’s greenest borough, we are an independently owned Georgian hotel, just a stone's throw from the royal park. This is a permanent full-time role (40hrs per week). What’s in it for you:

As our Assistant Front Office Manager, you’ll lead the team responsible for creating outstanding first impressions and delivering the last ones. Your mission is to inspire, lead, and coach your team so that they’re excited about delivering memorable moments every day.
As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you will be assisting the Front Office Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, including Reception, Night Team, and Guest Relations, ensuring the department runs efficiently and effectively while delivering exceptional guest service through strong leadership, training, supervision, and team engagement.
Key duties include:
- Ensuring efficient friendly service is offered when dealing with all guest requirements at the front desk and handling telephone enquiries effectively.
- Ensure all staff are fully aware of the booking procedures and promotions to maximise the revenue in the hotel.
- Driving to achieve outstanding customer service at all times.
- Co-operating with all departments in the hotel to ensure the correct reports and information are provided on request.
- Ensure the front desk and lobby area are always kept presentable and manned.
- Demonstrating a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel and the local area.
- Ensure you and your team are performing guest check-ins and check-outs to the company standard.
- Support Front Office Manager with recruiting and reviewing applications for hiring new team members.
- Carry out Duty Management and occasional night shifts when required.
- Proficient use of Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office programmes is considered an advantage.
