  • Completing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Posting revenue journals in Sage following final validation checks.
  • Preparing and posting accruals and prepayment journals to ensure correct period accounting.
  • Posting payroll journals and supporting payroll-related reconciliations.
  • Preparing depreciation journals and completing fixed asset reconciliations.
  • Reviewing monthly profit and loss accounts and supporting variance analysis.
  • Reconciling intercompany accounts and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Completing monthly balance sheet reviews and ensuring balance sheet integrity.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.

The successful applicant will be offered a role subject to eligible Right to Work and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

  • Ideally, progress towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA)
  • Strong IT capability, including proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
