Richmond Futures is a residential surveying practice based in Richmond upon Thames, providing clear, practical and well considered advice to homeowners and property buyers. The practice specialises in Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys, with additional experience in party wall matters. Reports are prepared with a focus on clarity, proportion and practical value, helping clients understand property condition and make informed decisions. The practice places emphasis on quality rather than volume, with a considered approach to workload, client communication and professional standards.
This is a full time hybrid role for a Residential Surveyor based in Richmond upon Thames, with some flexibility for home working. The role will involve carrying out Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys, preparing clear and accurate reports, liaising with clients, and supporting selected party wall matters. Training in party wall work can be provided where required.
The successful candidate will work within a quality focused practice where workload is managed sensibly, with a maximum of five surveys per week. There will also be opportunities to gain exposure to selected Survey Shack work, offering experience in a different and forward thinking area of the residential property profession.
Responsibilities- Carrying out Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys.
- Preparing clear, detailed and practical survey reports.
- Providing professional advice to clients in a clear and approachable way.
- Supporting party wall matters as part of the role, with training provided where required.
- Managing workload effectively while maintaining high reporting standards.
- Working with the internal team to deliver consistent, high quality advice.
- RICS members, and Sava qualified candidates (or soon to be) will be considered.
- Residential surveying experience is required, with a good working knowledge of residential construction, common defects and building pathology.
- The role would suit someone who writes clearly, communicates well with clients, manages their time effectively, and takes pride in producing accurate, proportionate and useful reports.
- Experience in party wall matters would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
- A valid driving licence is required, together with willingness to travel to properties within and around Richmond upon Thames.
- OTE of £60,000.
