Richmond Cycles is on the lookout for an experienced self-employed mechanic to work as part of our workshop team. This is a flexible role at a well-established independent premium road and gravel retailer, located in the heart of Richmond. You’ll be taking ownership of major services, repairs, diagnostics, and custom builds. From high-performance road machines to adventure-ready gravel bikes, you’ll work with some of the best brands and tech in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out high-level servicing, repairs, and custom builds to a high standard in a timely manner.
  • Work with the workshop manager to manage total workflow and improve workshop efficiency.
  • Communicating clearly and confidently with customers when required.
  • Upholding high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

  • A senior-level mechanic with several years of professional workshop experience.
  • Confident with modern tech: electronic drivetrains, hydraulic systems, carbon frames, etc.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable being the heart of the workshop.
