Company Description: The company provides project management and building surveying services across the UK. They are a lean business with a focus on commercial projects and circa 50 in the business. The Project Management team is responsible for 70% of the business. The company is a diverse and dynamic bunch of individuals who are sociable. Business development is encouraged at every level.
Role description: This role is a real growth role. They want to bring someone into the team, mould them, develop & train them and have them be part of their business. The company has had a flurry of instructions from their 2 biggest clients and are now busy with projects. This person will work on schemes valued at £60-70m. They will likely work on 3 projects and support Associates above them. The level will be Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager depending on the experience of the person joining. This role is to start asap. The projects will be London based. The company operates hybrid working with a requirement of being in the office 3 days a week.
Requirements:
- They are open to those who have recently become chartered or those from an engineering or architectural background who want to or have switched into Project Management.
- The individual needs to be client facing, eager to learn, coachable and committed to becoming chartered, (if they are not already).
- A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; project management certification is advantageous.
- Experience in a consulting is preferred however they would be open to those with a contractor background.
Interview Process:
- 1st stage: online or in person meeting
- 2nd stage: In person meeting
Each stage will involve meeting 2 people on the client’s team including the Founder.
