Role Description:
- Lead the successful delivery of large-scale healthcare projects, from planning through to completion.
- Take full ownership of client accounts and major schemes, managing budgets up to £100m.
- Provide strong leadership to a growing healthcare-focused team, mentoring and supporting junior members.
- Act as the key client contact, building trusted relationships and ensuring repeat business opportunities.
- Oversee contract administration, including NEC and JCT, ensuring compliance and effective risk management.
- Deliver regular progress, financial, and risk reports to senior stakeholders and clients.
- Drive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure projects meet all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements while aligning with client objectives..
Requirements:
- Currently operating as a Senior Project Manager, or an experienced Project Manager ready to step into a senior role.
- Extensive experience within healthcare projects, ideally on the client or consultancy side.
- Must have experience of working in the UK project consultancies.
- Strong expertise in NEC and JCT contract administration, with a proven track record of delivery.
- Confidence in managing client accounts and leading complex projects independently.
- Ability to handle projects ranging from £50m–£100m in value.
- Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent) preferred, or actively working towards.
- Flexible working style – able to split time between client offices, project sites, and home.
- Professional, confident communicator with a proactive mindset and positive attitude that inspires trust.
- Must have UK consultancy experience
Interview Stages:
- Stage 1: Interview with team lead and one other team member (face-to-face or virtual).
- Stage 2: Interview with a Board Director and another senior team member (in-person).
