Company Description:
- Our client is a leading player in the industrial space with an extensive portfolio of warehouse space and a diverse range of customers across the country.
- They are supported by a global investment partner, and have been focused on growth over the coming years.
Role Description:
- Oversee the execution of asset strategies, ensuring timely management of new lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, and other lease events, either independently or with support from internal teams and third-party agents.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to meet their evolving needs, ensuring optimal space usage and minimizing void risk through proactive engagement and support for subletting or alterations.
- Identify and implement asset enhancement initiatives, ranging from routine repairs to larger refurbishments, ensuring projects are delivered on time and at the best value.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in strategic asset management, ideally within the industrial or logistics property sector.
- Proven experience in managing and executing asset management initiatives, including lease renewals, rent reviews, and value-enhancing projects.
- Experience managing teams and delivering objectives collaboratively, with a focus on achieving asset performance targets.
- Strong knowledge of the Midlands and South of England, with an understanding of regional property markets and dynamics.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, with experience in CRM systems being an advantage.
- Ability to manage and monitor asset P&Ls, formulate budgets, and track key performance indicators to ensure assets meet financial and operational targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including customers, agents, and surveyors.
- A valid UK driver’s license is essential for site visits and regional travel.
