Company Description:
- Our client an investment and advisory firm with a track record and a portfolio of significant hotel assets, the firm primarily targets full-service properties in high-demand markets and collaborates with global institutional partners.
- They are now looking to add an Analyst to the team in London.
Role Description:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling for potential hotel investments, including cash flow projections, valuations, financing, and investment return analysis.
- Prepare investment materials for decision-making, including presentations for the Investment Committee and external stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough market research to assess investment opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Manage the due diligence process for acquisitions, coordinating with external advisors such as servicers, accountants, tax experts, attorneys, and consultants.
- Collaborate with the acquisitions team to identify and evaluate hotel investment opportunities in Europe.
- Work closely with the strategic operations team to monitor the performance of acquired hotels and implement asset management initiatives.
- Track and analyze portfolio hotel performance, evaluating operating efficiencies, KPI tracking, revenue management, and adherence to brand and operating standards.
- Prepare monthly investment performance dashboards for internal and external reporting.
Requirements:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in an analytical role, such as in investments, asset management, or strategic planning.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities to support complex investment analysis.
- Must have experience in hospitality operations or related fields.
- A relevant undergraduate or graduate degree, ideally with a focus on finance, business, real estate, or hospitality.
- Proven track record of effectively communicating financial and operational data to various stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of property-level financials, operations management, and statistical data analysis.
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, particularly in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- A results-driven, collaborative, and action-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
