Our client is continuing to invest in one of the fastest-growing sectors within global real estate and is seeking ambitious professionals to join its Data Centre Advisory team in London. Opportunities are available from Senior Surveyor through to Director level, offering exposure to some of the most significant occupiers, investors, developers, operators, and hyperscale clients shaping the future of digital infrastructure.
As demand for AI, cloud computing, and digital connectivity continues to accelerate, data centres have become one of the most dynamic and strategically important asset classes within the market. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of the sector, advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, site identification, development opportunities, market entry strategies, and wider advisory mandates across the UK and Europe. The sector continues to experience significant growth driven by hyperscale expansion, AI adoption, and increasing infrastructure requirements.
What you'll do
- Advise a broad range of clients including data centre operators, hyperscalers, developers, investors, occupiers, and landowners.
- Support and lead advisory mandates across the full lifecycle of data centre real estate transactions.
- Work on site identification and acquisition opportunities, helping clients assess the viability of locations based on critical factors including power availability, connectivity, planning considerations, and market demand.
- Support investment and development opportunities, providing market intelligence and strategic advice to assist clients in making informed decisions.
- Gain exposure to occupier representation, development advisory, transaction management, market analysis, and commercial strategy.
- Depending on experience, take an active role in business development, client relationship management, and helping to further expand Knight Frank's presence within the rapidly evolving data centre sector.
- Collaborate with colleagues across capital markets, industrial and logistics, planning, development, valuation, and wider advisory teams, delivering integrated solutions to clients operating across the digital infrastructure landscape.
- At Director level, lead client relationships, originate new business opportunities, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of the Data Centre Advisory practice.
What you'll need
- Experience within data centre advisory, digital infrastructure, industrial and logistics, capital markets, development consultancy, or a closely related real estate discipline.
- Background gained within a leading consultancy, advisory business, or specialist data centre platform.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of real estate transactions.
- Experience working with investors, developers, operators, occupiers, or infrastructure clients.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine interest in the evolving digital infrastructure sector.
- MRICS qualification preferred, depending on level.
- For senior hires, demonstrable experience winning business and leading client mandates.
