Role Description:
- Assist in managing real estate development and refurbishment projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
- Support in identifying potential project risks and ensuring compliance with relevant UK regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in managing project budgets, cost estimates, and procurement strategies to maintain financial efficiency.
- Monitor project schedules, track progress, and ensure key milestones are met within agreed timelines.
- Support contract management, including JCT and NEC contracts, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and conditions.
- Prepare project reports, feasibility studies, and client updates to provide clear insights into project performance.
- Contribute to best practices, process improvements, and innovation within project management methodologies.
Requirements:
- MRICS or working towards chartership with 0-2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in project management.
- Degree in Project Management, Construction, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of JCT and NEC contracts, project lifecycles, and key UK real estate regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ability to assess risks, troubleshoot project challenges, and propose effective solutions.
- Understanding of cost control, procurement processes, and financial aspects of project management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and contribute effectively within a team.
