Our clients is a well known independent contractor in the commercial/industrial refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance industry. They are currently seeking a first class Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Manager Applicants should be qualified in refrigeration/air conditioning and have experience of managing a team of engineers and support staff. Experience of business development in refrigeration or air conditioning would definitely be an advantage, as would the ability to estimate maintenance contracts and provide extra works estimates. A good understanding of budgetary control, commercial awareness and laws/regulations relating to refrigeration and air conditioning are essential. The position carries an excellent basic salary, plus car, plus bonus, plus pension. Main Function of the Job: You will be responsible for managing, motivating and providing technical support for the service team, maintaining existing clients and developing new business.Provide the highest level of customer service with a sales-minded attitude while developing lasting customer relationships. Main Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Effectively manages team members/staff to ensure team objectives and Department Budgets are being achieved. 2.Offers exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by upselling products and services and taking care of any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally. 3.Review customers requests for service to ascertain cause for service request and type of malfunction. 4.Responsible for working with service technicians in the field and dealing with complaints from customers and technicians. 5.Develop and maintain methods and systems for tracking costs of warranty, minimizing costs and maximizing customer satisfaction. 6.Sourcing new contracts, site surveys, quotations 7.Departmental meetings. 8.Ensure that all service revenue grows. 9.Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies and establishedwork practices. 10.Ensures appropriate employee safety training and compliance is completed. 11.Interviewing, hiring and training employees. 12.Any other duties as requested by Management.
