Wraparound Care Manager – after‑school provision at St Michael’s CE Primary School. Term‑time only (39 weeks), 17.5 hours per week (2:45pm to 6:15pm), starting September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the wraparound after‑school provision, ensuring a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can thrive beyond the school day.
  • Manage, mentor and support a team of staff to deliver high‑quality care, enriching activities and positive relationships for all children.
  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the provision, maintaining up‑to‑date safeguarding training or undertaking training upon appointment.
  • Collaborate with school leadership, parents and external agencies to promote inclusive, values‑driven care.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Passion for creating inclusive, values‑driven environments for children.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead staff and deliver high‑quality after‑school care.
  • Current DSL training or willingness to complete relevant safeguarding training within a short duration.
  • Experience in after‑school or childcare settings preferred but not essential; experience at a Church of England school is not required.
