The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This is a well-rounded post involving collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver Neighbourhood Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) funding across Wandsworth Borough. The role requires building meaningful relationships, strategic thinking, and a focus on outcomes to bring community solutions to life. The post is a fixed-term contract or internal secondment until May 2027.

Aims and Objectives:

  1. Build relationships with internal teams and external agencies to support project delivery and understand their priorities within the NCIL programme.
  2. Support project management and administration of the NCIL programme, ensuring stakeholder engagement.
  3. Promote the Leader\’s Community Drop-in programmes, especially for underrepresented groups, to facilitate community engagement with the Council and elected members.
  4. Collaborate with teams and partners to deliver place-based projects and support community engagement initiatives.
  5. Assist the Community Funding Manager in managing the wider programme, including communication and administrative tasks.
  6. Work with various stakeholders to deliver NCIL-funded projects.
  7. Identify and address potential challenges to project delivery.
  8. Project manage, plan, deliver, monitor, and evaluate NCIL projects.
  9. Produce reports and documentation related to project progress.
  10. Ensure projects have clear delivery plans and are completed on time and within budget.
  11. Escalate risks or issues to the Community Funding Manager.
  12. Chair meetings to track project progress.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Understanding of local government structures and ward Councillors\’ roles.
  • Knowledge of project management and NCIL or similar community investment programmes.
  • Experience in relationship management and project delivery.

This role will be initially advertised internally. If interest is insufficient, it will be published externally on 22nd August.
