Social Worker / Senior Social Worker (Supporting Disabled Children Service)

Are you a passionate, creative and experienced social worker who is looking to expand or develop your experience in practice with disabled children and their families? An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in one of the teams within the Supporting Disabled Children Service. As a Social Worker in the Supporting Disabled Children's Service, you will be working alongside the other teams in the service and colleagues in our Preparing for Adulthood Service. You will also work closely with our in-house providers of short breaks, health and education professionals and a range of private and voluntary organisations.

You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality and responsive social work service, assessing the needs of disabled children. You must be highly motivated and demonstrate excellent social work knowledge, skills and values to deliver the highest quality service to disabled children, their families and carers. You should have experience in Children's Services, including child protection, and a clear understanding of all relevant legislation and guidance.

• You will hold a social work qualification with Social Work England membership and have successfully completed your ASYE Year.
• Experience of working across voluntary and statutory agencies with applied knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance.
• You will be a passionate and driven social worker who is looking to develop your experience in practice with disabled children and their families.
