Site Manager - Ronald Ross Primary School

Overview

Ronald Ross Primary School is seeking a reliable and conscientious Site Manager to play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation, safety and development of our school site.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Site Manager will work closely with the School Business Leader, Headteacher and wider staff team to ensure our buildings and grounds support high‑quality teaching, learning and community use.

• Experienced in site management, caretaking or building maintenance or willing to learn
• Practical, organized and able to work independently using their own initiative
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Experienced in health & safety compliance, including fire safety, safeguarding, site inspections, and maintaining accurate site reports
• Skilled in managing maintenance schedules, responding to reactive repairs and coordinating planned preventative maintenance
• Competent in ordering materials, managing deliveries, and overseeing site logistics
• Experienced in minor building repairs, plumbing, painting, decorating, and general facilities maintenance
• Confident in locking/unlocking procedures, alarm systems, and overall site security management
• Highly organized with strong communication skills and ability to support project managers with work planning and site coordination
• Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
