Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Do you want to make a real difference in a vibrant, creative, and ambitious school? Smallwood Primary School and Language Unit is seeking dedicated Support Staff to join our expanding team. You'll work closely with individual pupils and small groups, helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive and dynamic environment. With our Language Unit growing from 45 this September, there's never been a more exciting time to join us!
We are passionate about the education of our children, continuous professional development of all staff and a strong partnership with parents and the wider community. Within the Language Unit all pupils have an EHCP and have communication and language disorders including Autism. It is important to us that all adults contribute to the growth and development of every child and support their individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with individual pupils and small groups, helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive and dynamic environment.
- Work under the direction of the class teacher and support individuals and small groups of children.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of G.C.S.E. grade C or above in English and Maths.
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or relevant extensive experience.
