35 hours per week (10:15am – 6:15pm, Monday to Friday) with a one‑hour unpaid lunch break each day. Fixed one‑year contract, all year round. Eastwood is part of the Wandsworth Federation of Maintained Nursery Schools. We are looking to recruit an experienced Receptionist/Administrative Assistant with outstanding organisational skills to provide a warm, welcoming, and professional environment as the first point of contact for the Nursery.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the first line of reception and provide excellent customer service to parents, staff and visitors.
  • Manage a varied workload under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records, handle communication, and use the school office systems.
  • Use the Microsoft Office suite proficiently and support database software such as Arbor and Access.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in a school office or similar environment.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent IT skills and familiarity with school administration software.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
