About The Role
Policy, Project and Improvement Lead
Salary: £57,171 – £72,186 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term (12 months)
Employment: Full Time (36 Hours)
Wandsworth, London
You will be required to be in the office on average half the week.
Reporting to the Head of Policy, Project and Improvement Children’s Services, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team consisting of Senior Policy and Improvement Officers, Policy and Improvement Officer and Policy and Commissioning Analysts.
Responsibilities
- Scope, develop and manage delivery of policy and transformation projects, including writing associated papers and project plans.
- Manage a very busy schedule, prioritise tasks amongst competing demands, and keep track of important tasks.
- Lead with a relational, team‑oriented approach to advance strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public.
- Provide essential creative and delivery capacity to help children’s and family services adapt to changing needs.
Essential Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- Brilliant verbal and written communication skills, able to convey information clearly to a diverse range of audiences.
- Previous project management experience and associated qualifications would be a big plus.
- Strong IT skills and enthusiasm for adopting new technologies to support business needs.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusivity; respectful interactions across communities are valued.
