Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for children and young people aged 2 – 19 years with profound and multiple learning difficulties and sensory impairment, including deaf‑blindness, physical disability, and complex medical needs. We are a growing service with a focus on integrated and evidence‑based working, as well as expanding our provision to meet the needs of our young people. The team includes 24 on‑site PT/OT and SLT’s working across the school to provide therapy to our pupils while contributing to ongoing service development.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to pupils in a special school setting.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of PT/OT and other SLT staff.
- Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.
- Support and mentor colleagues as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Speech and Language Therapist with a valid NHS‑approved registration.
- Previous work or placement experience within a paediatric setting is an advantage.
- Passion for integrated working and a desire to develop your career in a special school environment.
