Teaching Assistant – KS2

Role Overview

To work under the direct instruction of teaching and senior staff to support pupils’ access to learning and provide general classroom support.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning, personal development and wellbeing, including supporting pupils with SEND to fully access the educational opportunities available to them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils’ learning, personal development and wellbeing.
  • Assist with general classroom support and small group or one-to-one interventions.
  • Work closely with teachers and senior staff to provide SEND support.
  • Contribute to a calm, safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, supporting school events and additional activities.
