Ronald Ross Primary School is seeking a reliable and conscientious Site Manager to play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation, safety and development of our school site.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Site Manager will work closely with the School Business Leader, Headteacher and wider staff team to ensure our buildings and grounds support high‑quality teaching, learning and community use.
- Experienced in site management, caretaking or building maintenance or willing to learn.
- Practical, organized and able to work independently using their own initiative.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Experienced in health & safety compliance, including fire safety, safeguarding, site inspections, and maintaining accurate site reports.
- Skilled in managing maintenance schedules, responding to reactive repairs and coordinating planned preventative maintenance.
- Competent in ordering materials, managing deliveries, and overseeing site logistics.
- Experienced in minor building repairs, plumbing, painting, decorating, and general facilities maintenance.
- Confident in locking/unlocking procedures, alarm systems, and overall site security management.
- Highly organized with strong communication skills and ability to support project managers with work planning and site coordination.
- Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team.
