Overview
In this Educational Psychologist role, you will work within the Schools and Community Psychology Service to support children's educational, social and mental health outcomes. You will blend commissioned, statutory, and project work, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to build capacity and promote inclusion. You will help deliver preventative and evidence-based psychology, contributing to systemic change and earlier access to expertise. This role offers reflective supervision, protected CPD, and a values-driven, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver commissioned work with schools and statutory duties and inclusion projects
- Contribute to the Experts at Hand offer, working with SLTs, OTs, specialist teachers and others
- Apply psychology systemically through consultation, coaching, modelling and training
- Promote inclusion, build capacity and support sustainable change in mainstream settings
- Engage in evidence-based, culturally responsive practice with a focus on impact
- Participate in reflective learning, supervision and purposeful professional development
Key requirements
- HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist or Year 3 EP trainee intending to qualify by Sept 2027
- Creative, psychologically informed thinking and commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork
- Excellent communication and consultation skills
- Experience with children and young people and with parents/carers on emotional wellbeing and mental health
- Experience delivering psychological interventions such as CBT, systemic approaches or group work
