About The Role
Key aspects of the role include:
- Undertaking assessments of individual and carers needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm.
- Working in partnership with service users and carers using a person-centred approach, with the aim of maximising independence, wellbeing and choice.
- Applying social work principles and values to guide professional practice and respect diversity.

Essential Qualifications, Skills And Experience
Candidates must have post qualification experience along with a good knowledge of relevant legislation and local authority responsibilities in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults. Good communication, decision-making and time management skills are required.

Salary & Benefits
In return for your skills, knowledge and experience, we can offer you a salary up to £52,767 per annum (subject to experience) and:
- £3,000 retention bonus (every 2 years' service)
- Payment of Social Work England registration fee
- Performance related salary progression scheme
- 32 days annual leave plus bank holidays (40 paid days in total)
