We are seeking a talented & enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work under the direction of the Assistant Head for Inclusion at a primary school in South West London.
Full‑time 31.25 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8:45am to 3:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break). Term time only (39 weeks) including INSET days. Event Linked Temporary Contract 01/09/2026 to 31/08/2027. Closing date: 05 June 2026 (at noon).
Key Responsibilities- Manage pupils on a 1:1 basis.
- Support pupils’ learning and development in line with the school’s inclusive education strategy.
- Assist students with literacy, numeracy, communication and IT tasks where needed.
- Take a proactive role in maintaining a positive, supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and support team to deliver effective learning support.
- Confidence and genuine enthusiasm to work with young children.
- Drive, ambition, ability to challenge, inspire and motivate learners.
- Strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
