You will need to be an experienced HR professional joining our Consultancy Team. Having a strong track record in providing practical, people-focused advice across the employee lifecycle. Skilled in employee relations, policy guidance, and stakeholder management, delivering solutions that support organisational goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.

About The Role

In this role, you will deliver expert advice and guidance to managers on a variety of HR topics, including employee relations, sickness absence, recruitment, and organisational change. You will also manage and expedite casework such as disciplinary and grievance cases, sickness absence, and performance management, ensuring lessons learned are captured and shared. Assist with researching and preparing cases and materials for employment tribunals and committees. Support the job evaluation process, including evaluating posts and interviewing postholders. Help managers and HR colleagues with restructures and TUPE processes. We are seeking someone with a strong working knowledge of HR, a proactive approach to casework, and the ability to influence and support managers. Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Essential Qualifications, Skills And Experience

  • Good working knowledge of the HR function, including employee relations and recruitment.
  • Knowledge of the principles of equality and diversity for the purposes of working effectively with and within a diverse workforce.
  • Experience of proactively supporting case work using a case management approach.
  • Experience of supporting managers and HR staff.
  • Successful track record of resolving complex issues.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office applications and HR database management.
