We are seeking a positive and flexible Food Technician to support our Food Studies curriculum across Key Stages 3–5. The role involves preparing materials and equipment for practical lessons, maintaining a safe and organised learning environment, supporting students during cooking activities and contributing to the smooth running of the department.

Working Hours: 32.5 Hours per Week, Term Time Only (39 Weeks), Required from September 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare materials and equipment for practical lessons.

  • Contribute to the smooth running of the department.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in catering, food preparation or education support.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and building positive relationships with young people.
  • Experience working with students with SEND is advantageous, although training and support will be provided.

Additional Information: Garratt Park School is a special school for children and young people aged 11‑19 who have moderate learning difficulties, including Autism, SCLN, sensory impairments and a small number with more complex needs. The school is situated in the inner London borough of Wandsworth.
