Permanent – Fulltime (36 hours)

Locations

Wandsworth Town Hall, room 217, SW18 2PU and York House, Richmond Road, Twickenham, TW1 3AA.

This role requires the candidate to work from various locations across Richmond and Wandsworth depending on business need and to be part of a call out rota.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

About the role

We are looking for an FM Electrical Engineer to support the FM Hard Services team in delivering compliant electrical building services to all Wandsworth and Richmond Councils corporate properties, ensuring high quality services across approximately 300 buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment across the council’s corporate building portfolio.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in systems and machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with wiring regulations and health & safety regulations.
  • Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and contractors as needed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Electrical installation and maintenance experience.
  • Fault finding and repairs proficiency.
  • Knowledge of wiring, health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to test and inspect electrical systems.
  • Strong teamwork and administrative skills.
