The predicted salary is between 40737 - 49365 £ per year.

As part of a supportive team, you will provide a range of housing management services including repairs and maintenance, tenancy and leasehold management, and anti‑social behaviour. The role involves significant public contact, home visits, and partnership with external agencies. You will act as the front‑line manager for approximately 900 properties, serving as the primary liaison between residents and the council.

Responsibilities

  • Provide housing management services such as repairs, maintenance, tenancy and leasehold administration, and anti‑social behaviour interventions.
  • Visit homes to assess conditions and coordinate remedial work.
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with residents, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Organise workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Attend meetings and respond to emergencies outside office hours.
  • Write letters, reports, and other documentation on a wide range of issues.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Experience dealing with the public and an interest in social housing.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a heavy workload.
  • Capacity to work within a busy team and develop constructive relationships.
  • Understanding of housing legislation and relevant responsibilities.
  • Ability to write clear letters and reports.
  • Willingness and ability to attend meetings and emergencies outside office hours.
