Early Help Practitioner

Permanent Full Time (36 hours)
Wandsworth Early Help takes a whole family approach therefore you will work systemically with children, young people and their families. You will be responsible for a manageable caseload in the Targeted Youth Support Service, working with young people aged 13–18 (25% SEND) and their families. To achieve this well we need the very best professionals to join us on our journey that places children at the heart of our practice.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with families and contribute to achieving the best Targeted Youth Support Service.
- Implement strength‑based methods to improve outcomes for children, young people and families.
- Deliver direct work, group work and activities to create resilience.
- Provide practical support to children, young people and families to help them thrive.
- Utilise knowledge of the impact of social GRACES on family work.
- Level 3 child‑focused qualification or equivalent relevant experience within Children’s Services.
- Experience improving outcomes by working in a strength‑based manner.
- Experience delivering direct work, group work and activities to build resilience.
- Knowledge of the impact of social GRACES.
- Ability to provide practical support to help children, young people and families thrive.
