Overview
Duty Manager, Part-Time at Shene Sports & Fitness Centre, SW14 8AT. Starting salary of £14,890pa (actual for 20 hours p/w).
Where you’ll be working
You’ll join the team at Shene Sports & Fitness Centre, Richmond Park Academy, Park Avenue, East Sheen SW14 8AT. Facilities include a multi-purpose sports hall, all-weather pitch, fitness suite, cycle studio and class studio. The centre is open to the public weekdays from 6.30am to 10pm and weekends from 9am to 7pm. You’ll be working 20 hours per week on a shift rota, including a mix of daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Be part of the management team overseeing the day to day operation of the Centre so that it runs smoothly.
- Ensure all facilities are clean, safe and staffed to provide every customer with a great experience when they visit or contact us.
- Support front of house reception work, supervise activities, and co-ordinate sports activity programmes, together with Health & Safety duties.
What we’ll need from you (Qualifications and skills)
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- You must hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification for this role.
- First aid qualification and some relevant experience are desirable.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and provision of service.
What we can offer
Starting salary of £14,890 pa. Salary progression for this 20 hour role is £14,890 to £18,043pa.
