An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly effective teacher to join Roehampton Church Forest School as a Class Teacher with subject leadership responsibilities. Applications from ECT’s are welcome.
Roehampton Church Forest School is a small, one-form entry primary school with a proud history of serving the local community since 1828. Situated in the heart of Roehampton, next to Putney Heath and close to Richmond Park, our school offers a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious learning environment in which every child is encouraged to flourish.
Our ethos is firmly rooted in our Christian distinctiveness, with Christian values and morals at the heart of school life. We are proud of the strong relationships we build with our pupils, families, staff, governors, the church and the wider community. The school is ideally located and benefits from excellent public transport links.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality teaching and learning across the curriculum.
- Take responsibility for leading a curriculum subject.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop high quality provision and support curriculum improvement.
- Contribute to the continued development of teaching and learning across the school.
Qualifications
- Hold QTS.
- Have experience of working with primary aged children.
- Demonstrate strong classroom practice.
- Show commitment to pupil progress.
- Be able to work in partnership with the whole school community, including the church community.
