Fixed Term (12 months), Full Time (36 Hours), Location: Roehampton, London. Salary: up to £52,767 per annum (subject to experience) + additional benefits. Ofsted Rating: ‘Good’.

About the Role

In the newly formed Family Help Service you will work alongside families during their most challenging moments, providing support, protection and hope. You will be part of a small, highly skilled team with regular supervision, manageable caseloads and protected time for working with children and families. Using a family‑led, systemic approach, you will help families create plans that reflect their voices and values, whether facing child protection, child in need or care proceedings. You will collaborate with a multi‑agency team that includes Children’s Practitioners, Adult Mental Health Practitioners, Substance Misuse and Domestic Abuse Specialists, and in‑house Family Therapy and Social Care CAMHS teams.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England and successful completion of ASYE.
  • Experience in voluntary and statutory settings, with confident knowledge and practice.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, bringing compassion, creativity and clarity to the role.
  • Strong commitment to children and families, believing in their potential and upholding their rights.
