About The Role
RHACC currently has exciting opportunities for qualified and experienced counselling tutors. As a variable hours tutor, you will be part of our teaching team that deliver counselling qualification courses from level 2 to 4. Working closely with the Programme Manager for Counselling, you will plan and deliver high quality learning programmes to meet the needs of all learners. You will be responsible for the management of coursework and ePortfolios via an online learning platform. You will complete standard quality assurance tasks related to course planning and management, learner attendance and punctuality, learner progression, assessment and evaluation.
About You
- Teaching Qualification: minimum Level 4, Teaching Qualification (Level 5 desirable) or be willing to work towards gaining a Level 5 teaching qualification.
- Counselling Qualification: therapeutic counselling qualification at a minimum of Level 4.
- Minimum Practice Experience: current practitioner and hold a supervision qualification or experience of providing supervision to groups or individuals in a counselling setting.
- 10 hours of personal therapy.
- Member of a professional association for counselling or psychotherapy.
