Special Education Assistant - Social Support Program, Available 2025 - 2026 School Year in Elgin

Position Overview

This is a 185-day position for the 2025-2026 school year. Pay Schedule: Grade 105.

Qualifications

• 60 semester hours at an accredited institution of higher education; or
• an Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education; or
• a qualifying score on one of the state-approved assessment exams (ParaPro or ParaPathways)

• ParaPro exam scores will be accepted through August 31, 2026.
