Responsibilities
- Take the lead in developing and implementing SEO strategy across the UK, European and USA markets.
- Manage complex e-commerce sites and our crawl budget.
- Be pivotal in the launch of a new website platform migration to deliver a best-in-class customer experience that improves our ranking and visibility across the SERPS.
- Be responsible for the implementation of canonical tags, hreflang tags, schema enhancements, redirect mapping and technical SEO requirements across our current and new platform, ensuring a seamless migration between those platforms.
- Conduct technical audits and work with the IT/Dev teams to ensure the websites are optimised from a technical standpoint.
- Work closely with the content team to ensure that existing content on the site is optimised; conduct Content Gap Analysis and Keyword Research where required.
- Create and maintain SEO performance reports, automating where possible.
- Use Google Analytics, Brightedge, Google Search Console and any other appropriate tools to identify opportunities and weaknesses.
- Stay up to date with best practice around AI Engines/GEO. Conduct competitor, keyword and ranking analysis across Answer engines and implementing optimisations that will continually drive growth in new and evolving landscapes.
Experience and qualifications
- Ideally 5+ years of relevant SEO experience, within an agency, brand or media owner OR demonstratable experience of relevant SEO experience.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and ability to put processes in place to ensure adherence to these.
- Comfortable with all aspects of SEO, covering tech, content and link optimisation.
- Experience of wider digital marketing channels and how they influence SEO and vice versa, specifically PPC, Affiliates and Social.
- Expertise in multi-channel SEO strategies for diverse websites.
- Self-motivated and able to stay up to date with ever changing industry trends.
- Have an agile and dynamic mindset to stay ahead of the constant changes that our business needs to evolve with.
