HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Across Peter Millar and GFORE UK, you will help oversee the strategic project pipeline, potential new business development opportunities, process improvement initiatives, and general business needs to help organise and scale the business. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong business acumen, and be able to connect disparate pieces of information to identify where opportunities and risks may exist to the business. To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to communicate effectively with members of the Senior Management team, functional leads and stakeholders to deliver business support and drive initiatives forward. The role will combine business strategies with project management, organisation, and execution.

  1. Support the Managing Director and UK based Senior Management team for Peter Millar and GFORE UK with company-wide project prioritisation.
  2. In conjunction with the MD and Senior Management team, assist in the organisation of operational planning on existing and new strategic projects that will drive business efficiencies.
  3. Leverage broader company exposure to identify new project opportunities based on understood needs in the business.
  4. Develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders to fully understand their needs, resource constraints, and options for executing projects on time.
  5. Scope out potential business solutions which will include cost analysis, timelines, and resource needs / level of effort.
  6. Assist the MD with Strategic Planning exercises with support from Senior Management.
  7. Analysis will include both qualitative and quantitative analysis. This will require thoughtful articulation in how messages to HQ US and internal UK staff are communicated to ensure the stated goals align with annual and quarterly objectives.
  8. Serve as a thought partner to the organisation and educate teams on use and interpretation of business reports, key performance measurements, and other measures of success from across the business.
  9. Combine understanding of macroeconomic industry, market, and customer trends to help position Peter Millar on the cutting edge of innovation from a product and process standpoint.
  10. Leverage Data & Analytics to assess internal performance and identify opportunities to further the competitive advantage.
  11. Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in each department to understand and document ongoing major yearly initiatives in an effort to help optimize business operations, ensure resource availability and provide transparency for ongoing business processes throughout the year.

  12. Previous experience working in the golf, sporting goods or fashion industry desirable.
  13. Ability to travel both domestically and globally essential.
